We are really excited to be able to share our little piece of New Zealand. Our cabin has a cosy bedroom with a sheltered porch, deck and separate sheltered kitchen and bathroom. We have hooked up an off-grid water and power supply for your comfort and lighting. To finish off the setup, we have added an unheated shower and have gone for a simple portable flushing toilet setup.
You have wrap-around views of the Pacific, Tauranga Harbour and the Kaimai mountain range. Near by you have the bush on your doorstep with private access to a pristine river where you’ll see crays and eels and be serenaded by the sound of bell birds and tuis echoing in the forest around you. A truly magical spot.
If you fancy finding some salt water there are a choice of boat ramps to drop the boat in, beaches to hang out on and jetties to jump off all within 10 minutes.
There is a stainless steel worktop and sink with a BBQ and a separate stove for cooking or boiling water. Next to the kitchen we’ve got a small herb garden on the go to make your meals pop.
To finish the day off properly we’ve supplied a firebox and chimney with plenty of firewood. This will keep the chill away while you watch the Milky Way blaze in the sky overhead.
